A little sparrow...

About 2-3 days ago I believe, I went with mom and dad to OU to watch a marvelous french film. Entitled La Mome. Other titles call it La Vie En Rose . If you've heard these two names before (particularly the latter) , it is no doubt an autobiographical film about none other than the superb, wonderful, unique, eccentric, yet quite nasty and petite...Edith Piaf.

La Mome tells the story about how Edith's life began from povertious childhood to international french icon to her last moments in her deathbed. There were some scenes I didn't know about her too, which makes it quite interesting. So for all you french lovers or those who know her and her songs, this movie is highly recomended, and french-made too! ^_^ With real french language and parisian background, settings and timeline.

This is her in real life. Her place of birth was unknown and legend has it that she was born among the streets of Belleville. O_O Can you imagine that? Me mom told me "Dulu mase dia kecik, dia lahir kat tepi jalan" I was like whoa .__.;;

She grew up in a brothel. Apparently her GRANDMA is the owner! Although that DOES NOT mean she became a prostitute! Anyhoo, the movie? Was definitely incroyable~ <3 French for incredible! I can't wait for the dvd to come out! Kalau ada pirate pun boleh jugak lah! xD Haha!

And tomorrow, the family is gonna watch Pirates! Orang lanun! Real pirates that sail the seven seas, the kind that DOES NOT sell cakera padat by the streets! x3 Pirates that drink the ol' rum! Anyone care to play Liar's Dice with me? :3

The Chemique signing out!

What's that you're listening, jukebox? : La Foule by Edith Piaf
